This ceramic vase is part of my Studio Study Collection—a series of pieces created while I was learning pottery.
I hand-threw and shaped this vase during my studio practice. Once it was ready, I invited my young son to become part of the creative process by painting it in his own joyful way. Together, we turned a practice piece into a unique collaboration between mother and child.
The bright colors, playful brushstrokes, and expressive details are exactly as he imagined them. There was no plan—only creativity, curiosity, and fun.
As one of my early studio works, the vase may include small imperfections from the learning process, and its price reflects that.
By choosing this piece, you’re not only giving a handmade ceramic a new home—you’re also celebrating children’s creativity and supporting a small family of artists.

Care
Each piece is shaped and finished by hand, so small variations are part of its character. Hand-wash with a soft cloth and avoid sudden temperature changes. Handle with care: edges can chip.
How it's made
Shaped by hand — thrown on the wheel or built by hand, one piece at a time. Finished by hand — glazed, painted or left raw. Fired in Maria's own kiln.
